Fathers Day

I had a great Fathers Day...with my Father! I was able to take the weekend off and spend time with my dear ol' dad for the first time in 4 years. Summer and I went home to Kansas last Thursday and went to my cousin Jeremy's wedding, she filmed, I was a groomsman. It was so great seeing every one again and just being back with the family.
Then on Sunday dad and I kind of tag-teamed preached and there were 2 people who rededicated their lives to Christ during service. PRAISE GOD! After that we grabbed some Chinese food (Dillon's...the best!) went home and took a nap then headed back down south to Tejas.
As great as it was being home, I really missed Firewheel and our people. SO i'm looking foward to being back at our church this week!
Missed yall,
Josh

Great Ministers

I was just sending out an email to some of the servant ministers in our church and I thought about how amazing they are! If you are one of them, THANK YOU for all you do and your commitment to building the Kingdom of God, and building life long followers of Jesus!
YOU ROCK!!! (they really do) :)

No Saturday Meeting

There will be NO preschool/nursery meeting this Saturday due to the mandatory choir practice for district council! You all are ENCOURAGED to come out and support Pastors Aaron and Holly and Pastor Sam and the rest of the choir as they lead worship on Tuesday night of Council at SAGU in Waxahachie. Services start at 6:30!

God is good

The other day I was praying and just started thanking God for all He had done for me, WOW. It is so incredible to just sit there and think of EVERYTHING He has done, from my wife and family to the ministry He has called me too, and all the way to saving my life when I was burned. I'm always thankful for His sacrifice on the cross and that is the ulitmate thing to be thankful for, but I have almost taken for granted everything else He has done.

1 Chronicles 16:8:
Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
